Daily Traffic Jam, a 24 Hour Scenario

Daily traffic jam on my way to my place of work in Silang, Cavite, worsened by heavy rains this morning & various irresponsible constructions alongside the Old South Super Highway, more particularly the portion passing Brgy Dita to Balibago Complex, Sta. Rosa City. This very short portion of the highway need more or less 30 to 45 minutes forcing the passengers to walk, instead. Not only that, there’s another set of this short course traffic jam but I failed to video it this time. The portions from Balibago Complex to Sta. Rosa exit its another 30 minute bumpy ride like that of a roller coaster maybe because Sta. Rosa has the Enchanted Kingdom that’s why the municipality preferred to keep the highways this way. Many drivers do the rerouting via a longer path to get out of Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. The supposed 1hr travel time now becomes 2 to 3 hours. It’s almost killing the families of the employees coming from this place for reasons of habitual tardiness. For information many business establishments were affected by this problem not to mention that Sta Rosa has the Laguna Technopark and all other Industrial Parks nearby suffering from the delay of their Shuttle Service. May this serve as a wake up call to the officials of the supposed to be, 1st class municipality. It has been months now, maybe 2 or 3.
